This project is the culmination of our years of living in Israel and traveling the land of the Bible: Turkey, Jordan, Greece, Italy and Egypt. Many of you have participated in some of these adventures with us. All of you have played a part as family, friends and ministry partners in the writing of this book through your faithful support and encouragement over the past 25+ of ministry. I want to share with you what the Lord has taught us along the way, especially seeing the Bible come to life while living in Israel.
The physical setting of the Bible is an essential ingredient which flavors the entire story. The desire for this book is to help you gain an awareness and appreciation for ingredients which influence how we read, interpret and comprehend the Bible. They all combine to flavor our comprehension of the Bible, influencing how we see God, ourselves, and others, ultimately impacting how we live.
